Patagonia and Blue Mountains Running Co. is proudly hosting a film screening and Q&A of End to an End. A film celebrating trail running and the precious mountain ash forests of Victoria’s Central Highlands.
Join us on a journey across this incredible landscape as ultra-runner Majell Backhausen runs 273km, from Wandong to Mt. Baw Baw, crossing through the lands of the Taungurung, Wurundjeri and Gunnaikurnai people.
Â
Experience the rare beauty of the Victorian Central Highlands and meet the determined individuals and organisations working tirelessly to protect these lands for the benefit of us all. These unique forests are home to the Critically Endangered Wollert/Leadbeater's possum and the Baw Baw frog, among many other creatures and plants found almost nowhere else on Earth.
Â
This film explores the life of this unique and precious ecosystem on the doorstep of Melbourne and advocates for why its biodiversity, water, and culture should be protected.
A post film Q&A with Majell Backhausen will take place and refreshments will be provided.
